Polishing matrix marine

Our polishing matrix for boat detailing

Before you get back on the water and the season starts, it's just the right time to get your boat back in shape. To make sure you are on the right track, we explain the various options using our polishing matrix. With the help of our gelcoat polishes and polishing pads, you can take your boat detailing to the next level.

When time is of the essence - our one-step polish

The combination of our One Cut Foam Pad and the Gelcoat One Cut is ideal for a quick one-step polish. Polishing haze, holograms or scratches are effortlessly removed and the simultaneous sealing effect rounds off the polishing process perfectly.
Our Gelcoat Finish is also suitable for a one-step polishing process when it comes to new boat detailing or final sales detailing where minor scratches need to be removed.

Our two-step polishing process

For the tougher cases, a two-step polishing process is just right. Depending on the state of weathering and the degree of scratching of the gelcoat, you can choose between our Gelcoat Ultra Heavy Cut, the Gelcoat Heavy Cut with the Heavy Cut Foam Pad or the Gelcoat Fine Cut with the Fine Cut Foam Pad in the first step. Our Heavy Cut Twisted Wool Pad or our Heavy Cut Short Wool Pad can also be selected here. The Heavy Cut Twisted Wool Pad provides the best cut as well as better color deepening and is particularly suitable for use on edged surfaces due to its long fibers. The Heavy Cut Short Wool Pad, on the other hand, provides a better cut than the Heavy Cut Pad and is ideal for use on straight surfaces. In the second step, our Gelcoat Micro Cut & Finish together with the Micro Cut hard Foam Pad is ideal for permanently removing any remaining polishing haze and holograms and rounds off the process with the sealing component it contains.

Our two-step polishing process with sealing

In the two-step polishing process, you can choose between the Gelcoat Ultra Heavy Cut, the Gelcoat Heavy Cut with the Heavy Cut Foam Pad and the Gelcoat Fine Cut with the Fine Cut Foam Pad in the first step, depending on the degree of weathering and scratching. The Heavy Cut Twisted Wool Pad or the Heavy Cut Short Wool Pad can also be selected for all three of these polishes. In the second step, our Gelcoat Micro Cut together with the Micro Cut hard Foam Pad permanently removes any remaining polishing haze and holograms. Our Gelcoat Finish together with the Polish & Sealing Foam Pad polishes, maintains and refines the surface and thus ensures a seal with good color deepening and durability. As an alternative to the Gelcoat Finish, our Ceramic Boat Hull Cbh0.01, our Hand Wax W0.01 or our Marine Protective Sealant Sm0.01 can also be used as a sealer.
