1. Thoroughly pre-clean or wash the vehicle with alkaline (e.g. with Green Star diluted 1:10, do not use sealing shampoos) before the polishing and sealing process. For coarse soiling such as tree resin, rust film, tar, etc., pretreat with our clay bar Reinigungsknete rot or blau, Teerwäsche A or similar. 2. Depending on the condition, heavily to moderately weathered paintwork is prepared mechanically with the coarse Heavy Cut polish or the fine Fine Cut polish. Please refer to the product information for Heavy Cut and Fine Cut for the exact processing. 3. Slightly weathered paintwork and the removal of holograms after polishing with Heavy Cut or Fine Cut is done mechanically with the Micro Cut high-gloss polish using an eccentric. Please refer to the Micro Cut product information. 4. Remove polish residues completely with a Polish and Sealing Towel. 5. Wipe all surfaces gently with a clean Polish and Sealing Towel soaked with Silicon- & Wachsentferner or Panel Preparation Spray and wipe with another new Polish and Sealing Towel with the second hand just before drying. This is the only way to completely remove surfactants, drying aids, the oils contained in polishes, etc. and to avoid adhesion problems with the Ceramic Body Cb0.01. Caution: In the case of sensitive uni or single-layer paints, Silicon- & Wachsentferner should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:4, preferably distilled water, in order to avoid any matting or damage. 6. The paintwork should now show a scratch and hologram-free surface under proper lighting. After this step, the paint must not be touched with the palms/fingers (risk of adhesion problems, use gloves). The surface is now perfectly prepared for Ceramic Body Cb0.01. 7. Apply a thourough amount of Cb0.01 over the Application Sponge and spread it quickly on the paintwork, proceeding component by component. Alternatively, the Applikatorblock and the Application Towel can also be used for the job. After applying two cross coats, a thin, closed film of liquid must be visible. Allow the product to flash and then polish off with the Coating Towel. Flash off time is dependant on temperature and humidity*. The higher the temperature/humidity, the flash time will be shorter. First remove the excess and then use the fresh side of the towel to buff off in circular movements without applying pressure. Check the result with proper lighting to ensure that it is free of high spots. *Application example summer in Germany: 20°C / 68°F humidity 43% Flash off time 6 minutes Consumption depending on vehicle size approx. 15-30 ml Before use, please read the hazard warnings on the container or outer carton and take appropriate protective measures. Ceramic Body Cb0.01 reacts with humidity. This can cause crystals to form on the rim when the bottle is open. If these crystals get onto the Application Towel, the surface to be coated will be scratched. Therefore, the crystals must be wiped off with a cloth before the product is dripped onto the Application Towel. In the case of double layered coatings, a drying time of approx. 30 minutes should be observed after the first coating, depending on the temperature and humidity. The coating is only weatherproof after at least 24 hours. Do not wash the vehicle for the first time after nine days at the earliest, as the ceramic coating is only then fully cured. At low outside temperatures (below 15°C / 59°F) the curing time is longer. Nevertheless, in the first nine days, bird droppings and insects should be gently removed as quickly as possible. The application of Spray Sealant S0.02 or Hand Wax W0.01 is recommended after 24 hours to protect the not yet fully cured ceramic seal. Cleaning agents with pH values below 3 or above 12 should be avoided. An opened bottle can be kept for a maximum of 6 months. Check the bottle for crystallization before use. Hand washing is recommended to keep the high-gloss ceramic surface for as long as possible. Use Green Star (dilution 1:10) for alkaline cleaning. Use Gentle Snow Foam for neutral washes. To remove mineral dirt, a deep cleaning with the Reactivation Shampoo is recommended. Professional aftercare maintains the properties of the ceramic seal and minimizes water stains. Therefore, after washing the vehicle, Hydro Foam Sealant S0.03 (dilution 1:50 - 1:200) is recommended as a wet sealant or Spray Sealant S0.02 as a topper. Please refer to the product information for the exact processing.
