Welcome Week 2024

Start of apprenticeship at Koch-Chemie

Once again this year, three new apprentices started their training with us in August: industrial clerk, chemical production specialist and warehouse logistics specialist. The start of the trainees also marked the beginning of this year's Welcome Week.

A successful start to working life

The first day of our Welcome Week was still relaxed for our new apprentices. After a relaxed round of questions, with some funny anecdotes and personal facts, the mood was immediately cheered up and our program with company presentation, instructions and the most important information about the training could continue. After handing over our KCX school bags to the trainees, which contain a small starter pack for the world of work, everyone was given pizza for refreshments.
Of course, practice is also important, so after the lunch break there was a product training session in which the three of them worked hard to prepare a vehicle themselves. This gave them the opportunity to get to know our products better and to gain a better understanding of what they will be working on at Koch-Chemie.
Afterwards, they had a well-deserved cool-down at the ice cream van, where the other colleagues also joined them. A great opportunity for our new apprentices to get to know the whole KCX team.

Honoring completed apprenticeships

While some are just starting out, two of our apprentices have passed their apprenticeship with very good grades. This is definitely worth the traditional KCX trophy, which they can now display either at work or at home.

Full commitment in the climbing park

Of course, our Welcome Week didn't end there. On Monday, all the apprentices were together at the climbing park in Hamm. After a briefing on the climbing equipment, we got straight down to business - even the more difficult climbing courses were not long in coming. Afterwards, they went to the Cafe del Sol for a well-deserved refreshment, where they exchanged ideas about their training and had interesting conversations over delicious food and drinks.

Welcome to the KCX family

It only remains for us to welcome our new trainees and wish them a successful and exciting apprenticeship.
Apprentices are an important part of our company. So if you are now interested in an apprenticeship at Koch-Chemie, you will find all the important information here. The new vacancies for the 2025 training year will also be posted online soon.
