Gelcoat Heavy Cut

Coarse polishing compound for gelcoats and boat paints

Abrasive machine polish for reconditioning heavily weathered gelcoats and boat paints with a high degree of sanding and a very good gloss level. Effectively removes graying, deep scratches and scuff marks from fenders, for example. Produces a good surface shine on dark gelcoats and paint colors in the first polishing step. Gelcoat Heavy Cut can be polished for an extremely long time with low dust and spray development without burning, is very easy to wipe off and free from silicone oils.

Heavily weathered, grayed and stressed gelcoats and paints in the boat area
Can be applied using both rotary and eccentric polishing machines. Apply 5 pea-sized drops to a suitable polishing pad (Heavy Cut Pad, Lambswool Pad short or Twisted Wool Pad) and work crosswise. Spread the product evenly over the surface at low speed. Then polish with a rotary machine at max. 1000 rpm (eccentric machine on the highest setting). Remove any remaining polish with a Polish & Sealing Towel. On dark surfaces, polishing marks can be removed with Gelcoat Micro Cut. We recommend sealing after polishing with Gelcoat Finish, Marine Protective Sealant or Ceramic Boat Hull to close the pores of the surface.
Shake before use. Check for material compatibility before use. Do not use on hot surfaces. Protect from frost and excessive heat.
